Our red alder soap dish is made with sustainably grown lumber grown and harvested here in the USA!
The dish has minimal surface area to discourage the soap from sticking. The wide-angled channels allow the water to drain away, allowing the soap to dry quickly and extending the life of the soap and dish.
It is recommended to use soap dishes in pairs. Use one soap dish for 3-4 weeks, wipe clean, and set aside to fully dry out while the second is in use. Alternating them this way and periodically allowing them to dry thoroughly will prevent mold and mildew from developing and significantly extend the soap dish’s life.
